Angelo Cadiente, MD, MPH

Angelo CadienteAngelo Cadiente MD, MPH is a former Founding Research Fellow at the Health Ethics Lab. He is currently completing his Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. His foundational research interests are on the ethical use of artificial intelligence in medicine and medical education, geospatial analyses for access to care, and protections related to vulnerable populations. He continues to serve as a Research Consultant for the Health Ethics Lab.

Jamie Chen, MD

Jamie ChenJamie Chen, MD is a founding research fellow at the Health Ethics Lab, which she has been actively involved in since its inception! As a recent graduate of the 2021 cohort at HMSOM, she is currently completing her Ophthalmology Residency at UMass Chan in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her interests in bioethics center on the ethics of artificial intelligence in medicine, as well as questions of justice and vulnerability in research populations. She is particularly drawn to bioethics as a way to critically consider responsibility, equity, and the societal implications of medical innovation. Jamie is excited to continue her role as a research consultant at the lab and enjoys working with students!
