Evidence-Based Resources for Health Maintenance visits

Prevention TaskForce is an application designed to help primary care clinicians identify clinical preventive services that are appropriate for their patients. Use the tool to search and browse US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations.

Provides: Screening and Diagnosis, Treatment, and Patient Education, Self-Care information by topic.

These guidelines address the populations for whom testing is recommended or not recommended, the recommended tests and testing intervals, and the benefits, limitations, and harms associated with testing for early cancer detection.

Recommendations from ACOG (the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The recommendations for preventive care are based on age and risk factors, and designed to be used as part of patients' annual assessments.

The Well-Woman Chart outlines preventive services recommended by the WPSI, U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF), and Bright Futures based on age, health status, and risk factors. Additional recommendations for immunizations are provided in a separate table from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

The tables provide an easy-to-use reference table for each pediatric visit. Each table compiles the relevant history, risk assessment questions, and action to take if the risk assessment shows a positive result.
