HMSOM Skin of Color Database (by condition)
This compilation of images was created to address a need for more representative images in lectures. It contains images of the skin manifestations of many common medical conditions on patients of darker skin tones. It was started by first year medical students at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in 2020 with the support of faculty and librarians from the Seton Hall Interprofessional Health Sciences campus. Images are free to use, with the citations provided, throughout the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
