We hope you had a happy and healthy start to the new year!

The HMSOM Library is ready to start up our Workshop Wednesday sessions with some exciting and informative programs.  Our Workshop Wednesday events are held bi-weekly, from 1pm - 2pm via Zoom.  Below you will see a list of our upcoming events, a description of what they will cover and a link to sign up.  Please feel free to forward the events to other colleagues who you think will benefit from any of these sessions!

A Guided Tour of the HMSOM Library Website (February 5, 2025)
The HMSOM Library is your one-stop-shop for all your research and information needs! Are you new to the organization and need assistance on how to find articles or databases?  Or maybe you just need a refresher on what the library has?  This short orientation will go over the basics of what the library has to offer you.  From databases, to online journals and thousands of eBooks, we will go over how you can find and access them.  We also go over our services and our future workshop events.  So if you are new or just need a refresher join us to learn more about your HMSOM library!

Staying Ahead: Using BrowZine for Keeping Up with the Literature (March 12, 2025)

Trying to stay current with the literature can be daunting. How do you stay alert on what is new or novel?  In this session we will showcase the platform BrowZine to help you!  BrowZine is a web and mobile application that provides users with a convenient way to browse, read, and organize scholarly journals. It is primarily designed for academic researchers, students, and faculty to access and stay up-to-date with their favorite journals.  Learn how you can use this wonderful tool to find and access journals, create a personal bookshelf and be notified on the latest releases.
