Why Is the Case Files Collection Unique?

The Case Files Collection provides premier case content with the goal of improving learning outcomes through exposure to clinical cases. The Case Files Collection features:

  • The complete collection of basic science, clinical medicine, and post-graduate level cases from 23 Case Files® series books
  • An interactive format to help students learn and retain knowledge through exposure to realistic patient cases
  • Personalized functionality to let users mark their progress through completed and unseen cases

How to Use the Case Files collection?

In order to take the quiz questions, you need to create a My Access account. This is a personal account, and not associated with your SOM credentials. This account will work across the AccessMedicine, and Case Files

First, visit the library website and go to AccessMedicine. Next, create an account by clicking My Profile in the upper right hand corner of the screen.  Now you'll be able to take advantage of some of the key features of the platform, like utilizing the flashcards and accessing Case Files.

If you have any problems accessing or creating an account please contact the library for assistance!
