Danielle Kong, Co-Editor in Chief (she/her)
Danielle Kong is a second year medical student at HMSOM. From a young age, she was captivated by the arts, always found with a sketchbook or camera. Danielle is excited to continue building platforms for medical students to publish their creative work, and to highlight the value of bridging the arts with medicine through Ripple Magazine. Her other interests include running, hiking, and trying new bakeries.
Zephyr Hameem, Co-Editor in Chief (she/her)
Zephyr Hameem is a second year medical student at HMSOM. She has always found herself drawn to stories, having been raised on anecdotes from her parents about their lives in Bangladesh. Along the way, this sparked a deep love for creative writing and literature within her. Zephyr enjoys exploring the connections between medicine and the humanities, and aims to provide an outlet for medical students to showcase their creative talents through Ripple Magazine. Her other interests include singing, baking, watching movies, and going on long walks.
Allison Piazza, MHA, MLIS, Faculty Advisor (she/her)
Allison Piazza is thrilled to be Ripple Magazine's faculty advisor. Allison was a Medical Librarian at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine for 5 years, and currently holds adjunct faculty status at the school. She is a (very!) amateur collage artist.
