Description: I think of this composition as the result of being a classical music enthusiast who has been listening to a lot of jazz recently. It's a sort of classical/jazz blend in the key of Db. Unlike my other works so far, there is no written score for this piece, and this performance was partially improvised.
Description: In anticipation of starting my pediatrics clerkship back in April, I wanted to write something inspired by children and for children to play on the piano themselves. The result was a waltz, titled "Peculiar Child", which is meant to represent a curious child at play - in a world of their own exploration.
